Lake Como in northern Italy is one of the most beautiful and romantic of destinations to visit. If that isn’t enough, there is also the wonderful possibility you may chance up George Clooney who calls the beautiful villa pictured above home. One morning, while strolling along one of the narrow streets of the town, having delighted in biscotti and real Italian coffee, three cyclists whizzed past me. The leader with baseball cap on backwards, gave me a cheeky cheshire grin acknowledging a near miss… it was Clooney.
